Swedish Meatball Pie

Handmade beef and pork meatballs topped with gravy, a braised red cabbage and crispy brown butter dill Potatoes all in our signature Double Butter Crust.


This Swedish inspired savoury pie is a tribute to our favourite Swedish Twins who recently announced their retirement from the Vancouver Canucks. We love giving back to the community and these two hockey players are notorious for their generosity during their long hockey career in Vancouver.  Profits from the sale of this pie will be donated to the Canucks For Kids Foundation.

Baking & Serving Tips

Make sure to get the most enjoyable and best experience out of our pies by following the baking instructions and serving tips below. These instructions are specific to Swedish Meatball Pie. If you would like instructions for a different pie, please check that page.

Freshly Baked

If your Swedish Meatball Pie is already baked, please store it in the fridge. For best results, the pie should be consumed within 5 days of purchase. To warm, place on a baking sheet in a preheated oven at 350°F. Bake a 9” pie for 45 minutes, a 5” pie for 25-30 minutes, and a hand pie for 15 minutes.


If your Swedish Meatball Pie is frozen, please store in the freezer until you are ready to bake and consume. For best results, the pie should be baked within 3 months of purchase. Since the Swedish Meatball Pie is an open faced savoury, the crust and the filling have already been baked. Please thaw the pie completely by placing in the fridge for at least 24 hours, then follow the Freshly Baked instructions above.


  • The pie should be able to lift from its tin when the crust is perfectly baked.
  • If you insert a thermometer into the centre of the pie and it reads 165°F, your pie is ready.

Ordering Details

All pies ordered online are ready after 12 noon on your selected date (chosen during checkout).

Using online shopping you can order pies in 9-inch, 5-inch, 3-inch (9-pack), hand pie (5-pack), Mini hand pies (12-pack) or pop (12-pack) sizes.

To order this product online, select a size followed by selecting options (like the ‘Top’ or ‘Frozen’, if applicable) and then click on “Add to Cart”. As you go through the checkout process, you will be able to specify a date for pick up. At least 36 hours notice is required from the time you order (the system will not let you select a date in advance of this time). Your order will be freshly made and ready for you on the date specified!

Or come visit us at one of our locations for a freshly baked slice, savoury hand pie or pie tart to enjoy on premises or packaged up to go. We also keep rotating stock on hand (first come, first served basis) of the 9-inch and 5-inch pies for those looking to take out.

Lastly, you can visit one of our Partner Retailers and pick up a pie there. Please call them in advance, as their stock is sure to be limited.

We take great pride in making each pie from scratch, by hand, and from locally sourced ingredients of the finest quality. Should you be unhappy with your pie, please return it to the shop you purchased it from and a credit will be applied upon the discretion of the Manager.

Please note:

  • Orders cannot be changed, nor cancelled, with less than 36 hours notice.
  • All of our products contain eggs, dairy, sugar and gluten unless otherwise noted. Our products are made in a facility that contains milk, nuts and gluten and, while we take great care to avoid it, cross contamination may occur in a food preparation area.
