It sounds crazy, but after thirty-four years of marriage I didn’t know that lemon meringue was my wife’s favorite pie. I decided to get one for her birthday, so the pressure was on to find a good one. I’d never tried The Pie Hole before so took a chance and ordered one (actually two). They could not have been more delicious; large, heavy, and a wonderful creamy consistency. They are a new birthday favorite.

Best crust we have ever had!

I brought an apple pie and a lemon meringue pie to a friend’s get together yesterday and both were a hit! The crusts were flaky and spices just right in the apple pie. The lemon meringue was a lemon curd consistency and very rich - though that appealed to those of us in the group with a sweet tooth. Overall, a huge success.

We had the apple pie and lemon meringue pie and both were very tasty! Lemon was tart, and apple pie had the right sweetness.

The taste was wonderful, and we were pleasantly surprised to see how much curd we got in the pie. The pick up process was very easy, and was ready on time. We will definitely order again!

Firstly, crust is always amazing, flaky and buttery! Meringue delish! But curd was slightly too sweet and not enough tart…don’t get me wrong, I finished it and had more but….second to moms.

This was beyond delicious. So so so so good - we did not share but ate it all between two over three days. Kept it in fridge so we enjoyed it ice cold. Pacing ourselves but this will be a regular re-order treat item for us.

The lemon curd was extraordinary. A little sweeter than I usually prefer, but too much sweet lemon is a wonderful thing! It barely lasted more than a day.

I ordered a lemon meringue pie for my moms birthday online. It was super easy and user friendly. The next day I realized I ordered it for the wrong pick up date. I followed the instructions and sent an email and someone answered back quickly and the date was changed with out any issues

I’m very picky about pies. I usually bake my own, but have found that The Pie Hole does as well (if not better) than my homemade efforts. This is NOT a super sweet, mealy crusted grocery store pie. They are absolutely delicious.

I ordered the Lemon Meringue Pie and the Blue Hawaiian Pie and both were delicious! Both were ready when I went to pick them up and were well packaged.

bought this for boyfriend's birthday as this was his fav pie growing up. you can really tell they used real lemons for the curd and the crust reminded me of croissants. im leaving out a star because i found it a tad too sweet that it sometimes overpowers the lemon taste.

The crust was not tender and flaky like all of the previous pies we have ordered. Not sure why but the crust was tough. Still one of my favorite pies at the Pie Hole.

The crust was good as usual & the lemon filling was nice and tart. There was a lot of meringue which I liked but it was a bit too sweet for me.

Enjoyed the pies that I purchased. (some were frozen and haven't been consumed yet). Looking forward to baking some at home, and having them for a simple meal.

Loved the tartness of the lemon curd! It was still pretty good even the next few days. Definitely paired well with a nice cup of tea! I'll be definitely getting another one in the future :)

Bought the lemon meringue pie. Giving it 4 stars as the instructions were not clear on whether the pie needed to be refrigerated or frozen. I had it in the refrigerator and it was not nearly thick enough, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. Froze it today and the consistency of the meringue and lemon was much better. Overall a little disappointed though.

The meringue is so tall, and the lemon curd filling was so tart, not too sweet, perfect smooth texture and delicious. It was also very impressive looking!

By far the best Lemon Meringue pie we’ve ever had. Even Grampa thought it was better than Granma’s. But he said don’t tell her that! This was our first pie from Pie Hole. Now we can’t wait to work our way through all their other pies. The lemon filling was good and tart , not all sugar look some.

The lemon meringue is sooo good but even for someone that loves lemon I would love a slightly thicker crust or a little smaller lemon curd section. Or perhaps just a slightly less tart/sour curd. It just felt slightly unbalanced/sour for my taste.

I'll never stray from the pie hold now. The lemon mirangue and key lime are so fresh and tarte tasting I can't stop sharing with my friends with how good they are. Keep it up!

Talk about Lemon-Y !! Easily blows away any of the Diner style lemon meringues I've eaten over the decades, not to mention the ones 'Mom' used to make from a pre-mixed powder filling (though as a kid dessert was dessert!). This one is chock full of flavour with a lovely and Rich meringue topping. A small slice more than satisfies the taste buds, meaning it lasts longer. Win-Win !

I recently took the leap from renter to home owner with my husband, and I won’t lie, we went through 2 of the hardest, most stressful days we’ve ever experienced together during our move. Between the money, the packing, the cleaning, and of course even more money, we were barely alive at the end. But then there was a ray of light in the darkness; a glorious rebirth of the soul for all the world to see. There was pie. Lemon meringue on a godly level such that we saw the world anew. Would absolutely order again, whether in much need of a pick-me-up, or during the happy times when good can become great. 10/10.

Ordered this for a birthday and it was delicious! If you like tart sweets, you’ll love it. Came in a cute box with a see through window as well which I thought was a nice touch.
