Colleen's Mistake
It looked decadent so I had to try it. Had my first piece today. Let me say I love my sweets. Chocolate, caramel, cream, pecans - yum. However, it is really, really sweet and rich. I don't usually say a dessert is too much, but this one was for me. Just be aware that if you get this pie expect each component to be sweet with nothing to balance that out. This pie goes a long way because you only need to serve small pieces.
Thanks for the review Lorelei :)

It’s Your Mistake If You Don’t Try It
Bought a Colleen’Mistake for my friend Colleen”s birthday. We all loved it. Rich chocolate, gooey caramel and crunchy pecans on the perfect cookie crumb crust makes this pie a delectable winner.
Well done Colleen! Bet you didn't even know you were a baker. Thanks for the review Nicole :)

Really like the pecans
It is much less sweet compared to most pies. The pecans are a nice touch. A unique pie.
Thanks C.L. Glad you like it :)

The name of the pie caught my attention.
Although we feel that the pie is a little too sweet, the texture of the pie is good. With crunchy pecans on top and the crispy chocolate base, creamy chocolate in between make the pie very tasty. Definitely would try your savoury pies as well next time.
It is definitely a wonderful mistake ;) Thanks for the review/feedback, April. The savoury pies are ready when you are!

Best "mistake" ever!!!
This is the first sweet pie I've tried from The Pie Hole and I can't even begin to describe how amazing it is!! All of the textures and flavours go together SO well. I thought it was going to be incredibly sweet, but it's nice and balanced. Bought this for my Grandma's birthday and she can't stop raving about it. :)
Happy bday, Grandma!! Glad you guys liked it :)

Simply delicious!
The Pie Hole never disappoints. The crust on all their pies, (savoury or sweet) is nothing short of delicious!
Interesting and classic flavours, coupled with lots of filling is a match made in pie heaven.
I recommend trying a few pies- so pick up a few of the smaller ones. You’ll thank me as it’s hard to choose just one.
Thanks for the review, Carrie :)

Colleen did nothing wrong!
Great pie for a chocolate lover. Rich center coupled with candied nuts evokes a memory of their chocolate pecan pie, but more decadent.
Thanks Max :)

Thanks Colleen!
In 1929, Sir Alexander Fleming accidentally invented penicillin, and millions of lives were saved. Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen stumbled on x-rays in 1895, and now you can see exactly where you broke your ankle after not skateboarding in 35 years. Then it was Colleen's turn to change the world, when she forgot her glasses at home and misread nearly every ingredient and measure on the recipe she was working on. And again, millions of lives were changed for the better. Well...maybe thousands. Either way, this is an amazing pie, and just as with penicillin, X-rays, potato chips, velcro, and myriad other accidental inventions, my life is better for, I'm deeply thankful. I've recently discovered that adding a dollop of whipped cream to the top of pie makes it even better, but this pie has that built right in! It's fudgy, caramelly, pecanny perfection.
It's true! Colleen's bumble has blessed so many lives (and just a dash less critically than penicillin)! Wherever you are, thanks Colleen (and of course, thanks Jason :)

A perfect pie.
What's better than rich chocolate fudge? Rich chocolate fudge with pecans, of course. This pie is phenomenal; it moves in waves of texture and taste. It's never too rich and never too sweet, but always too delicious.
Thanks for the feedback, M R!! Colleen's mistake was definitely a happy accident :) So glad you enjoyed it!
