Have you ever been tempted by your favourite foodie baking Instagram accounts? Now is your chance to satisfy your holiday cravings for a good cause. 10 local Vancouver bakers have united to auction off 6 cookie boxes (and one cake!) for The Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
Organized by Jenell Parsons of The Pie Hole alongside Kristie Pryor of The Simple and Sweet Kitchen, each baker will donate their time and baked goods for the cause. Bursting with 36 cookies, the online auction is an opportunity to do good, and enjoy some yummy treats this holiday season!

Chocolate Dipped Peanut Butter Cookies
I grew up in the beautiful Fraser Valley of BC, Canada in a full house with my parents and three brothers. Almost all of my most precious childhood memories center around fresh, homemade, delicious food - particularly sweet treats. My mom and Grandmother were both incredible cooks and bakers, and ever since I was as a little girl there was no place I would rather be than standing on a stool between their hips watching and learning from them how to make delicious baked goodies from scratch.
Fanny is the self-taught baker and photographer behind the blog and online bakery Oh Sweet Day!. Matcha White Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Hi, I'm Connie and I'm a chocoholic. I live a double life where by day I work as a clinical dietitian in a hospital and by night I'm in my kitchen baking copious amounts of desserts. I first started my food blog in 2010 when I was in high school as a way of creative expression in between all of the university applications. Much to my surprise, over the years, it grew to be so much more than I ever expected! Little ol' me never could've guessed it but this tiny hobby has brought me so much joy and so many opportunities that I otherwise would not have experienced.

I come from a long line of bakers and farmers, and think that there is nothing as satisfying as harvesting your own produce, and cooking for others. From kneading bread, to braiding pie dough, baking is therapy for me...and has given my scientific brain an outlet for creativity. Baking is a science after all! I love empowering people to be brave in the kitchen, and I strive to create approachable recipes for even the most inexperienced baker. I am constantly inspired by the seasons, will never have enough salted caramel in my life, and can't live without flaked salt!
